Kartarpur border History

Guru Nanak Dev was conceived at Nanakana Sahib (57 miles from Lahore), to Hindu Khatris, Mehta Kalyan Das and Mata Tripta. Mehta Kalyan Das, crop revenue accountant of a local baron in the village of Talwandi (close Kasur region), his mom was Mata Tripta, a straightforward and religious lady. Guru Nanak had an older sister, Nanki Ji, who was five years older to him. (References: A New Zealand researcher W.H. McLeod’s book “The beginning to the end of Sikhism” and “A background marked by the Sikhs” by writer Joseph Davey Cunningham)

However as research appears, “Sakinat al-Aulia,” the biography of Hazrat Mian Mir Sahib, organized by Dara Shikoh (the oldest child and heir-apparent of the fifth Mughal ruler Shah Jahan) amid the seventeenth century does not make reference to this record. The church was over and again reconstructed by the Sikhs after it turned into an aspiration of violation and was overwhelmed a few times by the seething Muslim armed forces from Afghanistan and the Mughal Empire.
