History of Pakistan Super League

The Pakistan Super League 2019 variant, PSL 2019, is scheduled to occur from February 14th, 2019 to March 17, 2019. The championship, which will be labelled as ‘HBL PSL 2019’ and officially known as ‘PSL 4’, could kick in the UAE but the previous eight games could be played Pakistan. The business rights to the first franchises were offered for US$93 million for a period of 10 years in December 2015.

Market Value of Pakistan Super League

The market value of PSL at 2017 grew around US$300 million, based on Arif Habib. The PSL season runs between the months of February and March, with every group playing games in the double round-robin format; the best four teams with the best album qualify for the play and culminates in the championship match, the PSL Cup Final.

The league is steered from this Pakistan Cricket Board head office in Lahore. Because of safety reasons, the primary period was performed entirely from the United Arab Emirates. Peshawar Zalmi were the 2017 PSL Champions, with conquered Quetta Gladiators at Lahore on 5 March 2017. The winners are Islamabad United, who won the title on 25 March 2018 at Karachi. The championship will end on 17th March with the last game which is performed in Karachi’s National Stadium.

In accordance with the schedule announced by the PCB, the previous 8 games from 34 of the coming tournament will be played in Pakistan. The 7 games of this championship will be played in Dubai before 17th February, although the 8 games will last in Sharjah from 20 to 24 February 2019. Again on 26th February, the additional 7 games are going to be in Dubai, following the four matches of this championship will be played in Abu Dhabi on 4th and 5th March. The remaining games of this Pakistan Super League 4th Edition (PSL 4) will be performed at Lahore and Karachi in 8th March, such as the qualifying rounds, eliminators and also the closing.
